Why does Jerry Falwell Jr. love pornography?

I don’t know about Falwell, Jr. but there have been plenty of cases of the most fire-breathing preachers caught in flagrante delicto either in adultery or homoerotic relationships, etc. Never mind the ongoing Catholiic priest scandals. I think a lot of people look askance at this pseudo-Puritanical and hypocritical moralizing in the face of actual violence and cruelty on the part of Trump and others that is either condoned or tolerated for polititcal expediency reasons and the “war on pornography” then falls away. Not saying this is necessarily a good or bad thing just that in an era of gross violation of real morality that persecutes and oppresses many people for the sake of the powerful, a war on pornography seems of secondary concern.

Read the article this morning and was pleased to see it published in Politico which is considered mainstream and has readership across the political spectrum.
The biggest surprise of this last election, though momentum has been building for some time, is the totality of the Christian-right sellout. If it was ever about principles, a highly questionable proposition, it’s certainly not now.
For the same reason anyone loves porn. Misogyny.
