Hello again painting fans.
This week I will be starting a new painting. I will be painting the Grand Canyon. The photo that I’m using (mine) is seen directly above. I’ll be using my usual acrylic paints on a 7×6 inch canvas.
I started with a pencil grid on both a print of the photo and the canvas. In this way I was able to transfer the elements to the canvas in an accurate pencil sketch. I’ve gone over those lines in some blue paint. Things are off to a good start.
The current state of the painting is seen in the photo directly below.

Well you definitely get to use your palette when you’re painting the Grand Canyon!
Absolutely. It will be a nice challenge.
Just now getting to see this. I have been dealing with tornadic weather and power outages.
You can’t help but make use of quordle your palette while painting the Grand Canyon.
