I’ve probably recycled this video a time or two. I appreciated the nod to mid-1980s electronic Americana. I also appreciate the video’s location, as it is one that I have spent much of my life traveling through – the whole Victorville/Apple Valley area that was once nothing but desert a long time ago. This was filmed and released just before the pandemic hit. So maybe there is another reason for sharing this video.
Cheers!
It’s been fairly quiet. Take care, everyone.
I got back from my annual physical a bit ago. Noticed the nursing staff seemed a bit flustered. The nurse assigned to my particular Doc was looking over my record and making sure everything was up to date and mentioned that it looked like I had received my COVID-19 vaccines. I told her that was correct, and that under the circumstances, it looks like I’ll be getting what we’re now calling a booster in a couple month. She said something to the effect that if only people in our area would just do what they were supposed to have done and just been vaccinated, we’d be better off. She seemed pissed. I agreed. She then said this pandemic was going to be with us far a long time. Have to say I agree with here there as well. That’s reality now.

Sorry that it’s been quiet. I was in Massachusetts at a memorial for one of my best friends, and then I took a couple of days of R&R in the Adirondacks to recharge. Am back now. Thanks for keeping the store open.
No worries. My condolences.
