Will President-elect Obama campaign for Democrat Jim Martin against slime bag Saxby Chambliss in Georgia?
The answer might show just how aggressive Obama is willing to be– or, how conciliatory he wants to appear.
I vote that he puts a full court press on to snag the senate seat. If he’s willing to let Lieberman stay in the caucus then he’d better make it worth while with another pick up.
He needs to lay the proper groundwork so that he can come in at the end and claim another victory. It appears that this is happening, but I expect we’ll see more after Thanksgiving, building to a crescendo on election day.
If he goes to GA in person and we lose the election the MSM will paint it as “the first sign of weakness?” and “another sign that he needs to pull back to the center-right, where America’s heart really lies…”
So, now that Martin has lost, I bow to Obama’s greater wisdom in not appearing personally.
In retrospect, Martin probably didn’t have a chance no matter what Obama did. Polling probably told Obama this. Common sense should have told me.

You are correct. Obama hardly needed a defeat before his administration even began. However, I fail to make sense of…
Ecological collapse is already happening. Your resentment of the word doesn’t change the fact that it is occurring.
But the exclusive Dallas community the Bush family will soon join has a troubled history of its own.
Until 2000, the neighborhood association’s covenant said only white people were allowed to live there, though an exception was made for servants.
Enacted in 1956, part of the original document reads: “Said property shall be used and occupied by white persons except those shall not prevent occupancy by domestic servants of different race or nationality in the employ of a tenant.”
The entire covenant can be seen here.
When asked about his new home in an interview with The Dallas Morning News, Bush “played coy.”
“Mr. President — you excited about your house in Dallas?” Todd Gillman asked.
“Todd, why do you care?” Bush responded. “You live in Washington, D.C.”
The neighborhood is home to many famous people, including former presidential candidate Ross Perot and Mark Cuban, the billionaire businessman and Dallas Mavericks owner.
President Bush’s new house abuts the 14-acre lair of real-estate investor Gene Phillips, who just had a trout-filled lake installed on his property.
New southern discussion.
Here’s a great article about NC-10 candidate, Dan Johnson. When a true realignment comes, anything can happen.
Will Virginia go blue? It’s looking that way.

Did you notice the comment referencing “This Week In God”? Colbert should do something on this one.
