I AM POOPED. I have mostly enjoyed reading everybody’s words and there are more than I can read tonight. Looking at photos now and I so miss Janet Strange. Her point of view was the beginning of a point of view that was shared frequently by involved activists with those of us who were the military families and they knew that as “high” as we were that this is the beginning. I feel so much better yes, but this is the beginning of this journey to bring our troops home from Iraq! I have had two oatmeal stout and more completely tired than giddy……just a brief debrief and sending all of my love and thanks for all of the support that you have all been for me.
Tracy
Awesome Job Tracy..I was following the entire thing here in LA. Before you go to bed..treat yourself and read Frank Rich’s OpEd piece in Tomorrows New York Times..I believe it’s online now. It will make you happy. Congrats…This is only the begining.
Tracy, it is so good to hear from you. I just know you feel so tired but the joy of it all is making it last forever. Remember, Girl, you and all the others are making history. Hugs….Give my best to Cindy. Take good care and get some rest.
Tracy, you are wonderful.
Rest and have sweet dreams, we all be here tomorrow.
Hugs and love, Tracy … hope you get some rest. Your interview today was fabulous! isn’t John nice?!
I am so glad you got to go to Crawford. It is truly historic. And I am so envious of everyone who has had a chance to be part of it. I talked to adastra (Rick) tonight and the energy from his day just poured though the phone line. He emailed me some of his photos and they are wonderful. I replied that he must make a diary of them NOW!
I’m in Victoria, BC tonight, but had to check in to BooTrib before I go to bed, because my thoughts are there with you all.
Big hugs! We’ll meet again, Tracy. Remember you always have a home away from home in Austin.
yes. the easy part is when the cameras are rolling. The hard part is when they have all gone off to cover the latest pretty white girl kidnapping/murder.
From now to the end of month are the most crucial times. Will the numbers at camp continue to grow?
I am coming down on Weds this week. Need anything?
Tracy, you and all those with you are on the cusp of that first wave. You are changing the future. I am just so proud of you and Brinn, and Janet, and any other Tribbers who manage to make it there. All our hopes go with you. Great interview, by the way. Keep it up, girl. I’m sending good vibes and lots of love your way.
Tracy, thank you so much for your efforts and your strength. Rick and I met a woman yesterday who says she may have some info for you that may be helpful to your family regarding your husband’s coming re-deployment to Iraq. I e-mailed the info to Susanhu so she can give it to you or you can contact her.
I am really disappointed that I wasn’t able to find you and Brinn while we were there. I was looking forward to meeting you both. I am sitting here trying to figure out a way to stay longer as we speak, but will probably fly home today anyway since I have many things to take care of there. Responsibility sucks some times :O)
Thanks again Tracy and Brinn
Bummed I didn’t meet you personally too. Wasn’t the place packed though? Wasn’t it just fucking awesome? Yummy endorphins! I stumbled around for four days and people fed me and gave me water and told me to put the sunscreen on, which I did too few times.
VOTE HERE IN MSNBC POLL
Should Cindy Sheehan accept Pres. Bush’s response and go home?
I just took poll and with some 22,000 votes it’s running 69% to stay and 31 to go home.
It never fails to amaze me how the media twist things around…the setup here is basically that bush while not addressing her in person did respond to her. No he as usual just spouted his phony noble cause/won’t back down garbage blah blah blah..
A better poll would be should bush go speak to Cindy personally? Put the onus on him not Cindy.
