Hey 10-6 didn’t do anything for the Chiefs..they were at home watching your team play. And tell the Jets thanks for Herman Edwards..a fourth round pick..what a steal KC got.
Gotta be loyal to stick with em don’t ya?
I think it’s all my fault. Bad karma. I couldn’t find my hat. My bare head cost us Booman. My regrets.
UGGHHH!!! No shit. Should have saved some of those points from the 1st Redskin game. This was brutal d– s—–, start to finish.
Too many negative vibes, man.

▼ ▼ ▼ MY DIARY
It was Hockey Day In Canada yesterday and I had to listen to my team on the interenet radio.
Sometimes I wish I had cable… But then I see the news out there on the net:
“Sigh”
And I am proud that I don’t support that kind of news network. 🙂
So which team is it. Any team but the heathen Leafs are fine by me.
GO HABS GO!
They started out the season great, but once Kovalev and Koivu were injured they went on a MAJOR losing spree.
Hey! They beat the Sens easily on Sunday, but more because the Sens were without Alfredson AND Spezza. (both injured)
I think the Habs will pick up again now that Kovalev and Koivu are back on the ice. Come playoff time the Sens will be the team to beat in the East, and maybe even the league.
As for the Leafs? What can you say about a team that’s is pretty much being led in offensive stats by a D-man? They have Sundin back, but he is underperforming compared to season’s past. Unless he starts putting out soon then the Leafs will be toast in the early rounds of the playoffs. And their signing of Lindros, a horrible playoff performer, was a sign of pure desperation. Bring in a big name that was always over-rated and is now past his prime and pray… What were they thinking?
… that Leafs fans will sell out every game and pay outrageous amounts for playoff tickets year after year, no matter how the team does.
Same old story. Same old sorry Maple Leafs.
They made the biggest mistake getting rid of Clark AND Lefebvre for Sundin back in the day (yeah, Leafs continually lost in the playoffs while the Nordiques/ Avs won Cups with Sylvain as their top defenceman… good one) for a guy that the Nords coach said always disappeared in the playoffs…
Don’t get me wrong, Sudin is a great player, but he wasn’t worth both those players at the time (Wendel was Mister fucking Playoffs Clutch Performer & a young, top defenceman is gold in hockey… just like a goalie). And then getting rid of Schneider and the horrible injury that happened to Berard and well, we’re lucky we keep getting good defenceman… but we shouldn’t have had to. We could have built the team with the players we had back in the mid-90’s… then we wouldn’t have had to rely on guys who were on their way to retirement on O.
But what do they care – just try to get a Leafs ticket without paying $250 to a scalper in the reg season… can’t be done and they have us by the pucks and know it.
The Habs will sell out every game as well, but Habs fans have no illusions about where this team is. We are still in a rebuilding phase. If the core of the team stays healthy and plays their best we will make the playoffs, but we won’t be likely to go deep in them.
Leafs fans have had to suffer serious mismangement since the “Ballard-years” of Alpo hockey teams. Their more recent management has not been much better. Our team only has the “Tremblay debachle” that messed up the Habs. With Gainey now in charge, and Andre Savard as his assistant, I feel a lot more optimistic about the future of the team in this rebuild.
We prefer the term “pagan” thank you very much.
Catnip.
Ditto. And zander.
That rang through the ether straight to me. 🙂
Okay – kidding – I’ve been watching the Alito hearings and have popped in here a couple of times to see what’s going on at BT. I miss the live blogging, but I’ve been busy crocheting for my new grandbaby who is now 3 days overdue.
I’ll be back to blogging somewhere soon, but I’m still trying to work out my approach. You can always e-mail me anytime. hugs
I miss you too…hope the new baby comes soon!
WEIRD! We were just mentioning cheesecake over in the peace diary and I thought to myself, “it would be cool to see catnip magically appear.”
Great to “see” you! 😀
Mind? What mind?
the Giants defense and replaced them with the 49ers???
And short playoffs for Carson Palmer and the Bengals…but they’re a young team, they’ll be back…
It was pretty impressive how the Redskins crushed the Bucs with only 25 yards of passing!
On my mind? Data analyses. Tonight I was looking at some data a student and I had collected on right-wing and left-wing authoritarianism. Still some work to be done, but I think we’ll be able to tell an interesting story with that data.
