   I swear I was cursed… just as soon as they introduced Boo, my Romanian landlord came over and I spent the next hour or so talking to him in that language, so missed the whole thing eve though it was playing on my computer 😉

   Imho, BooMan’s measured, thoughtful responses were a very nice counterpoint to Jesse’s overwhelming flash 😉

   Thanks for letting us hear you, BooMan. What I sense of you from your posts came across very well to me: intelligent consciousness, carefully considered, informed opinion & a well-trained ego. Personally, I wish you’d been given a bit more room — but that’s just me: ‘big personalities’ interest me less than quality dialogue.

   Nice job, Boo.  Hopefully it will bring some new folk around here.  But the man’s a bit too polite for showbiz.  There’s nothing worse than an interviewer who loves the sound of his own voice.  I agree with him, but that’s not why I’m listening.

   Boo was thoughtful, reasonable, knowledgeable and compassionate.  When he runs for office he’ll need to be a little more aggressive.

   I loved the bit about Iran-Contra being the only fully exposed conspiracy in the US.  Here’s how you launder money, here’s how you move arms and drugs, here’s how you manipulate the government – beautiful!

   Well I just downloaded and heard the first half of the interview.

   To begin with, the host is a little “tinfoil hat”.  Perhaps a lot.  So if you’re going to listen to it later, be prepared for that.

   Boo did a good job in a very laid back, casual way.  He sidestepped a lot of the more lunatic fringe suggestions by the host (such as “anonymous” voting) in a graceful way.

   At least one Frog Ponder (Boston Joe) got in a question via email.  Very nice advertisement and introduction for the site, and there seems to be at least one int’l listener (from Netherlands, was that Oui?).

   Sort of a cross between Charlie Rose and Art Bell, the whole thing summed up in a super brief nutshell.

   But hey Boo.. there ARE “clean” elections.  They occur all the time in Canada 😉

    I’ll have to check the archive later but then again I’ve heard Booman speak before.
    He said some pretty radical things in a nice quiet, reasonable and matter of fact way.
    Even though we disagree on many things I respect his opinions and his attitude.
