It was a surprise to see it up there. To be honest, I decided to write it up because the World Diary list was getting so small (3 diaries) so I thought what the hell.
How’s your day going?
Olivia you can have anything you want. How about I add a little Bailey’s into it?
Bailey’s might even get me to drink a little. How about an iced coffee with Bailey’s for me?
What ever you desire! However, I’ve got to warn ya, George will be delivering and he does like iced coffee.

We just had post-bike ride milkshakes. Black cherry and black-and-white (the CBs shared theirs with me). Ah, vacation is good.
Actually that’s the reason I had to leave earlier. To get milkshakes. Ah retirement is good.

Actually I got a chocolate malt and got my Mom a banana split.
With her when she wants to go somewhere I don’t argue, I just go.
For some reason I just felt like a milkshake — maybe b/c it’s so nice outside today and yesterday … dare I say it … (it was 21 yesterday!)

Mmmmmm. Cherry milk shakes. With the little bits of cherry that get stuck in the straw and you have to suck them out of the milkshake end.
Almost as good as peppermint milk shakes. Back when I was a kid there was a Tastee-Freez over by the high school that advertised “50 Flavors of Milkshakes!” Cherry and peppermint were on their list. I’m pretty sure their peppermint shakes had crushed Starlite mints in them.
Oh waiter, bring me one of each.
That’s right…you’re a fan of black cherry. Especially in jello molds… 🙂

I think the definition of that term is nearly universally accepted within the context and colloquialisms of the language, predominantly prevalent in that portion of the population, commonly disparaged as the “Boomers”; of which I cannot claim to represent, as I refuse to be categorically defined, folded, stapled or otherwise mutilated, based on something as insubstantial, irrelevant, and inconsequential as a date, ergo, you’ll just have to “trust me dude…yer gonna like it“……Kewl…:{)

I had a customer who was originally in downtown Philly and I love to go walk along the Schuylkill. Then they moved out to west conshohocken right along the river and it was absolutely ugly. I couldn’t believe it was the same river.
I agree Conshy is pretty ugly, although it actually has improved some in the last few years. We were out by Valley Forge today.
The river is really low. I think we need some rain. Then again, it might make a spring trip to the petroglyphs in the middle of the Susquehanna river possible this year.

I was just wondering if I could get someone to take a photo of me jumping up and clicking my heels as I walk out the office door for the last time, but thinking then that maybe somehow that would be tacky…. Decisions, decisions….
You know i have been thinking what I would do if I were you tomorrow.
I thought I’d tell them what I really thought, but that’s not me.
I could do the kill them with kindness thing. Let them know what a distinct pleasure it was to work with them and find the really crazy one and really let him know what a pleasure it was.
But, probably I would just get my stuff walk out and not look back.
I’ve been trying to generate as much positive energy as possible. What didn’t work in this situation is not about me, although I understand that basic human narcissism defaults to the blame game and I am a sitting duck here. So mainly my focus is to that I wasn’t happy for whatever reasons and I’m ready to move on now. I hope that the future is inviting me into a better situation and I’m opening every possible pore to that happening.
I’m so envious of that scene… the bluebells in our yard aren’t up yet, due to being in a very shady protected area on the north side, but I’ve seen them up and blooming elsewhere around the city. I looooove them so much. You made my day with that pic!

The novel’s moving again as of today. I got a bit over 2,000 words done in four hours this afternoon. If I can just stay on that pace I’ll be done by the end of the month.
Other than that, I’m spending huge amounts of time on my mother’s divorce and wishing I were doing something political with those hours. I’m doing the occasional letter to my senator (GO Russ!) and to other politicians local and otherwise, but haven’t had the time and energy to diary or LTE in ages.
Part of that’s that Dr.Mc is swamped at school so instead of me doing the majority of the housework and other life support functions I’ve got ’em all. But she’s trying to ditch some committees, and the end of the semester is not that far away, so there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
Better stop before I transform this from a note to a missive or something even more drastic like correspondence.
I think you’ve got the novel-in-a-nutshell technique down pat here. And to think of all those 2,000 words wasted. LOL! But seriously, congrats for staying so amazingly on target. Hope your Mom knows how lucky she is to have you.

You need to get on this ASAP! On the other hand, if you don’t need to know, then you must already know. Looking in my crystal ball, I see a best-selling AndiF book on the self-help shelves at Borders.
My creative future is largely in the past so it was your specific waypoint that I mislaid.
