This is comical:
A 61-year-old German on trial for theft got himself into more trouble when he stole from the judge during his court hearing, police said Thursday.
Police in the central town of Coburg said that while facing her at the bench, the man pocketed a bunch of keys from the judge, who did not notice until he had left the room.
When confronted by court officials in the toilet, the man, who had a string of convictions for theft, told them he had been shocked to discover the keys in his pocket.
Got any good stories?
No story – I did want to wish Jerome a Paris a “Happy Bastille Day!”
we’ve got a fun bastille day celebration here in philly tomorrow at Eastern State Penitentiary, i’m planning on heading over there
Ah Albert – you gave me a smile – thanks!
Enjoy!
I’m planning on bringing my camrea gear. Maybe I’ll post some photos in a diary if they turn out okay.
Please do!
I don’t understand how he got his hands on the judge’s keys! Don’t judges have chambers of some sort where they can leave their stuff? Those crazy Germans.
Wasn’t there a judge somewhere here in the US recently who got caught playing with his own penis pump while sitting on the bench at trial? He probably wishes he’d left that little appliance in his chambers too!

WASHINGTON D.C. (AP) July 14 — Republicans are in jeopardy of losing their grip on Congress in November. With less than four months to the midterm elections, the latest Associated Press-Ipsos poll found that Americans by an almost 3-to-1 margin hold the GOP-controlled Congress in low regard and profess a desire to see Democrats wrest control after a dozen years of Republican rule.
Further complicating the GOP outlook to turn things around is a solid percentage of liberals, moderates and even conservatives who say they’ll vote Democratic. The party out of power also holds the edge among persuadable voters, a prospect that doesn’t bode well for the Republicans.

Good to see you, Oui.
Hope all is OK.

All is fine – just being busy-busy. Just became granddad, a world of new opportunities opens. We’ve added new furniture like a playpen and a cradle. Hmmm …

That sounds like ‘good’ busy-busy.
Just left a comment in your new entry.
Time for me to wrap up in the cubicle and head home.
