Yeah, those were the days! I scheduled myself for my last two undergrad years on a two day schedule. I went to class from 8:30am straight to 6 or 6:30pm with a half hour break on Mondays and Thursday. That left me the other 5 days a week to do the usual college recreational activities. I wish I could have been one of those professional students. 🙂
I seem to remember hearing him say something about a little jet skiing with Jessica Alba followed by a late lunch of Poached Black Sea Bass at L’Impero. Or maybe he was going to his mom’s house. I forget.
Maybe we should stake out his appartment. I hear they pay good money at the Enquirer and the Star for Jessica Alba with new boyfriend pictures these days.
Damn. Not a shocking tie breaker! The only time cool shit like that happens happens at DL is when I stay home. Hell, they probably only do the cool shit because I’m not there boring everybody to tears. What a bunch of heartless wankers.
Thanks. Believe me, I am taking it easy–not writing much, sleeping a lot, and forcing myself to eat. Anything that was supposed to be done yesterday can wait!
Steven, tell us about the costume! No doubt she is a cutie.
I just sent a red power ranger costume to my 5 year old grandson. I called him Sat and told him I found the costume and it has a gold belt. He asked “Is it real gold?”
In the past, I made his costumes – a duck he refused to wear when 2. At three he wanted to be a dog. I made a tan dog with brown spots. At four, he wanted to be a white dog with black spots. Now, he’s in school and waited to see what his friend was wearing. Thus, his choice to be a power ranger.
It’s a black and red fairy costume with wings and (and this is the scary part) bare shoulders which makes her look about 4 years older than she is. Scary for her Dad, that is, when he thinks about all the boys her age right now seeing her in it.
Just what little love to be! I had two daughters and always enjoyed making their costumes – and we did fairy costumes – and continued costumes through high school.
The younger daughter had a high school teacher who focused on the 70s for US history and included the culture of the times, too. That year I made a Nixon mask and later found one of my mini dresses so she could be Mrs. Brady.
I should check my grammar before posting. I HAVE two daughters.
All ages are fun and yes, there are a few years that are harder than others. But 11 years is a delightful year – one in which their world of learning greatly expands.
My granddaughter is going to be Jojo from Jojo’s Circus. They should get the costume today or tomorrow. She is almost two and her two favorite TV shows are Jojo’s Circus and Little Einsteins. Every time I’m in the car with her she pats her lap just like the Little Einsteins kids do to get the rocket ship going.
As for where BooMan is, I hope he’s having a good time, wherever it is.
So he’s probably run off and joined the club for growth to protect his winnings from the depredations of Uncle Sam. Either that or he’s sleeping off celebratory lagers.
I sincerely hope BooMan is out having one (or two) on me! ;-)) ( that is another thing great about coming to the pond, you can buy a round (or two) without so much as a dent in your wallet!)
last night to marry his boyfriend…lol! No? Ok…I am running away tomorrow by myself to the magical island of Kauai, that which I miss living on so much for a glorious decompress from the stress for ten days. No computers, no midnight calls from tenants with floods, no one breaking the rules and disturbing the rest of the complex at two AM in the jacuzzi. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….I can feel the warm tropical breezes now. I have a wonderful 2bedroom oceanfront condo all to myself. Anyone want to join me?
How much more stupid can the Red Cross get?….well it seems that during the whole stupid to do about nothing regarding the Chicks that in 2003 they donated a million dollars to the Red Cross…the only problem with that is the Red Cross refused their check.
I am DONE with midterms! And I feel really good about the one I just finished. Woohoo!
I hope you did well.
Enjoy that feeling … it’s one of the best. 😀
Ah to be young and a student again.

Damn, you have skill I only managed that until post–graduate school..once MTW..classes
And just to make you feel really good, Patrick Murphy mentioned you today.

Rumour’s abound. Apparently, there was a “shocking tie breaker round” at DL/Philly last night…and Boo won…or lost, as the case may be

the number of times f*** was said in “Scarface”
Hmmm…who’ve you been talking to?
it’s the damn pandas Chris.
I got a mild relapse of walking pneumonia. (Went to doctor day before yesterday).
Take care of yourself

please take good care of yourself and feel better soon.
Yes, get well soon!

I should add she’s 11 going on 18 (depending on the time of day you catch her and her mood).

I hope that BooMan hasn’t gone over to the Dark Side. < gasp >
Relax, I have it on good authority that he has vowed never, ever to root for the Eagles.

Probly just off stomping some guinea pigs again. Somebody’s got to do it.
Is there a prize if someone guesses right?
I could use a new blender…
