Heh.  I just want to use a baseball bat to wipe that smirk off the pinata, I mean, the preznit’s face.

I can’t wait for tomorrow to be over.

I’m a nervous wreck!  I’ve been on the phone all night harassing my friends to get to the polls tomorrow.  I managed to get six of them to agree that it’s important after going through all the obnoxious ballot initiatives we are facing tomorrow.  Ack!

I just got done emailing my brother and his wife to vote, even if it means they have to drive a half-hour to come do it (they just moved last week, and I’m sure they haven’t changed their registration yet).

goes according to plan, Arizona will be the first state to reject a “Protect Marriage” amendment tomorrow.  Prop 107 would wipe out all civil union protections and has been failing in all the recent polls.  [cross all appendages]

            Yay!

Did you notice that people are REALLY sick of all the calls today?

So what are your plans for tomorrow (besides voting)?

Voting early.  Go to work.  Leave early. Do the 3-7 GOTV shift.  Go to the Dem victory party. Sleep.

I found several large directories online for Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches in rural MO. I must have called 300 members and represented myself as being from the Synod’s Moral Purity and Political Oversight Board. I told them that it was my sad duty to inform them that Jim Talent had cloned several versions of himself so that he could indulge in “self-love” of the vilest kind. He had also personally ordered the abortion of several viable cloned embryo’s because the ultrasound showed them to be “ugly”. The Church needed their help to spread the word.

If it’s as close as they say, who knows? It might help.

(Note to Wingnuts and their atty’s. It’s a joke. In bad taste, granted, but that ain’t illegal yet.)

for the HEART of the Republican base here in Missouri 🙂

Weather tomorrow:  Scattered showers south and southeast, otherwise, decreasing clouds slowly for the late afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 50s.

I hope  the sun comes out early — the undead don’t like to come out and vote if its sunny 😉

If McCaskill wins, where are you going to turn your snarky attention? Who’s number 2 to Talent?

Somehow I think that there are a lot of congressional staffers who are preparing their resumes for work outside of government tonight.

And you’re preparing yours for government work? 🙂

K Street offices will be flooded with applications. Open “Think-tank” positions will be hot properties.

Kieth Olberman had another special comment tonight. It had to do with “the decider” re-deciding why we went to Iraq. It was (at least for tonight) to preserve $2.00 gas. Hope you all had a chance to watch. Maybe the voters will do some “re-deciding” of their own tomorrow. Let’s hope it goes our way more often than not. If so, maybe the smirk will disappear.

Oh thank you for reminding me to fill my tank tomorrow.  I have no doubt that gas prices will rise rapidly in short order and then Bush will blame the Dems for it.
