   they seem to have a problem with drupal as well, which makes them apache1.x and apache2.x and perl and php … low clue.

   i’m most amused by the notion that for 25k they’re going to roll their own cms. in finite time. and better than any of {scoop|slash|drupal|wordpress|…}

     plus, Drupal was written, in part, with geeks from the Dean campaign. They were working on Drupal then. So much for getting non-lefties, eh? 😉

   If we’d been a liberal website, we would have been able to fix the problem quickly and relatively cheaply. The online left loves Scoop. Unfortunately, there weren’t really any conservative Scoop developers out there to help us.

   It’s funny they either don’t recognize, or don’t want to point out, the technologically impaired elephant in the room : education  about and understanding of new technology are, at their root, antithetical to the conservative cause.

   Ha.  Freaking.  HA!

   Needless to say, we always regarded those “downgrades” as temporary, and we hoped to restore the eliminated features – and to add new and even better ones – as soon as we could afford to.

   Unfortunately, we still can’t afford to. But we’re convinced that America can afford even less to have us operating at anything less than our absolute peak potential during the coming presidential election season.

   That invisible hand is something to behold, is it not?  Oh, they’re looking for a handout – my bad…
