I knew I should have gone to that damn Teabagging Convention. Just standing around in the halls talking to those nutters would have been high comic relief. I could have even called myself a journalist and compared notes. But, seriously, it’s belly-achingly funny to picture Andrew Breitbert and WorldNetDaily Editor-in-Chief Joseph Farah having a public argument about who is and isn’t a real journalist. It’s also hilarious that the subject of contention was whether the Obama birth certificate issue is divisive to the nascent Tea Bagging Party. And the guy arguing that Birtherism is dumb is the guy who brought you the ACORN-steals-elections nonsense.
Hey, their bullshit is effective in its own way. But to argue that any of it is true, or journalism? Yeah, it makes me giggle.
By the way, how’d Palin do? I was too busy watching real hypnomedia. That shit is hilarious. And I say that as a non-Guido Jersey Boy.
What do you want? It’s a snow-day.

I can’t see who her speak can be taken seriously. The Tea Bags paid a 100K for her speech. Talk about wasteful spending.
speak = speech
…for the American people”. Until I decide to quit…again.
I watched “It Might Get Loud” for the nth time. Good movie, even though it has no bass players in it. 🙂
Also, look at what Oliver Willis found:

Did she answer c)?
I’m loving that scratchout on the second line, myself. Even when she cheats, she screws it up.
“And the guy arguing that Birtherism is dumb is the guy who brought you the ACORN-steals-elections nonsense.”
Ancient Chinese saying: When two people argue, either one is wrong or they are both wrong.
Even if Breitbart is technically right on this, a closer look reveals his real outlook. His rationale as to why the birther issue should be dropped is:
“That is an argument for the primaries that did not take hold. … it’s not a winning issue-“
The fact that it’s total bullshit never comes into it. It’s just not effective. (The reason it’s not effective is that it’s such total bullshit that the great majority of Americans can see that.) I guess the Acorn argument WAS effective. Until O’Keefe got arrested the other day.

Good old American pragmatism at its best. What’s true is what works. Until it doesn’t work.
Yeah, Breitbart and Farah arguing over birtherism reminds me of the exasperated housewife talking to her husband and another guy “Oh please! You’re going to fight a battle of wits? But you’re both unarmed!”
hehehehehe…that’s nice….
