- As part of his statewide “Jobs for Florida” tour, Kendrick visited 12 cities in just four days. He traveled from South Florida to Tallahassee to Tampa to Indian River County talking to middle class Floridians about his vision for creating jobs across this state and building a strong and sustainable Florida economy. As Kendrick said, “You can bet I will continue to work hard to get the state’s economy working again for Florida families.” Click here to see the stops (http://www.kendrickmeek.com/index.php/pages/tourmap).
- Even though Kendrick needed 112,476 signatures to get on the ballot for U.S. Senate, he submitted 145,000. That includes petition signatures from counties all across Florida. And, just last week, the Division of Elections verified the ballots and made it official!
- Kendrick has written op-eds for newspapers all across the state. This includes two in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and one each in the Tampa Tribune, Panama City News Herald, and Florida Today. He also was a guest columnist on FiveThirtyEight.com. Click here to read Kendrick’s editorials (http://www.kendrickmeek.com/index.php/issues/op-eds/).
- Kendrick is the only major candidate for U.S. Senate in Florida that has not called for the repeal of health care reform that President Obama signed into law. One of his Republican opponents even featured “Repeal Obamacare” on the homepage of his campaign website.
- Last week, we released a brand new video that highlights Kendrick’s journey for the U.S. Senate. Click here to watch the video (http://www.kendrickmeek.com/page/s/video).
- The pundits and press alike are saying the same thing – if Kendrick wants to win, he needs money to go up on TV and share his story with Florida. You can help make sure that happens Click here to make a contribution today – even as little as $5 makes a difference (https://donate.kendrickmeek.com/page/contribute/20100416)
The user info for user kendrickmeek claims that “I am a candidate for U.S. Senate and represent Florida’s 17th District.” But the post above talks about Mr Meek in the third person – in other words it was written by someone else.
Mr Meek lost my support the moment I noticed his extremist anti-UN and pro-zionist views.
This post was a copy of an e-mail my campaign sent out, but that I didn’t write.
Sorry to hear that we disagree over Israel, but I consider Israel a strong ally of the U.S. and I support that friendship.
Thank you for responding. Israel could perhaps be considered an ally of the US, but American administrations have found it has a disturbing habit of acting unilaterally with no consideration for anyone else, causing severe embarrassment to the US Government. The latest example of this was during the Vice-President’s visit to Israel just a few weeks ago.
Israel is a rogue state in international relations. In UN votes, Australia has been a friend of Israel along with the US. This was recently rewarded by Israel’s use of forged Australian passports in their terrorist assassination of a Hamas leader in Dubai.
The best thing the US could do if it regards Israel as a friend is to start standing up to Israel and speaking the truth about Israel’s unacceptable behaviour.
is pandering to AIPAC profitable?
by “friendship” do you mean this?
with friends like this, who needs enemies. eh.
I have to agree with you on this, CB!
Israel is a rougue state that has turned Gaza into a ghetto and complacency with their behaviour is a definite no-go for me – thanks for picking up on it.
