Back to the old grind this morning. Looking forward to making some changes in my schedule, though (I want to work a few days a week strictly from home, instead of going in for half days).
I’ve been working from home this morning to avoid the pain of early morning teleconferences, but now its time to pack up and head in to the office for a little bit…
Hope everyone has a great day. Is it really already hump day? 😉
I’m working from home today. The biggest thing is that I have a writer that does better with face-to-face direction; but today everybody has their marching orders already. 🙂
This wee FLEW by. Glad to hear things are zipping along for you too!
Good morning!
Safely back in Geneva – also reunited with my luggage when arriving here. United Airlines was never able to actually deliver it from JFK to curly’s address over several days. On the day of my departure I requested them to hand it over to British Airways and have it forwarded here.
Glad you recovered it. Just like my favorite from those collections of student-answers-on-tests. Q:When did Columbus arrive in the Americas? A:Before his luggage.
Ask, that’s amazing. I would have guessed your baggage was destined for an unclaimed baggage auction in someplace like Tulsa, OK. I hope your next trip is less suspenseful.
Hope you can get out (if you want to – maybe a snow day is on the horizon). Here, around noon it looked like we were getting quite a lot but now looks like it’s turning to rain.
We’ve head a steady snowfall all morning, and it was so slippery out that I headed out for yoga and turned back after getting a few miles down the road. I think it’s a bit warmer here than where you are, though – 12 degrees – yikes!
I do.

How is everyone else this fine Monday?
Working from home is great for being productive — as you well know. I don’t understand why more companies don’t encourage it.
To show Jim’s attitude, we’d need a picture of Finn crying. 😉
I’m back working at home beginning today (in my old comfy sweats, bwahahahaha). Sorry Jim:(
The dutiful civil servant back at work. Sigh. I’d love to give up this tie and jacket.
Of course there is a downside to retirement. Means yer old.
Methinks it better to be old & retired than old & just plain tired.
I’m kinda sick and tired right now but that’s a story for another day.
I know that tune well, b2. It usually turns out that I’ve been inside too much.
Just love that image, Andi!
If you can figure out how to bottle some of that joyous energy, I’d like a case, please.
Bebo’s certainly got plenty to spare. And I’d be glad to send it to you — just watching her bound through life is kind of exhausting.
I’d rather have Sniff’s ability to sit back, relax, and watch
Bebothe world go by. 🙂How ’bout a case of each?
🙂

Beautiful photo’s taken by one of BT’s commenters maheanuu. He would certainly be an asset by contributing to the Frog Lounge.
"But I will not let myself be reduced to silence."
Gorgeous shots. I stopped by that comment and reinforced your invite to post at the cafe and added an invite to our monthly Friday Foto Flogging.
First one of 2011 so it needs to be easy to get over.

How’s your campaign to get to work from home for entire days going?
First week of the year is definitely zipping by — in fact, it went by so fast I didn’t have a chance to answer this until the work week was over. 🙂

I’m off to speak to a group of aspiring civic leaders this morning. Ah, the role of elder statesman;-)
wonderful to hear this. good morning, all!
Will you be touring with Bill Clinton in that role?
Funny you should mention. I was considering asking him to be a consultant or maybe an aide.
or you could just ask one of the denizens of the Liar’s Bench. Perfect job for them. 😉
He just might be amenable. He lives in my neck of the woods. I can call him.
I’m betting he would fit in quite well with the courthouse Liar’s Bench crowd Andi mentioned.

Good morning! Glad you and your luggage are finally back together – what a lame effort they made to return it.
We have snow here this morning, but it looks like just an inch.

That would be funny if it weren’t so pathetic.
Glad you made it back to Geneva without incident.
Good morning all!
Good (snowy) morning, Errol! Traveling is a bit difficult here. I’ll try to get out later on.
Hope you can get out (if you want to – maybe a snow day is on the horizon). Here, around noon it looked like we were getting quite a lot but now looks like it’s turning to rain.
I’m testing out the theory of better late than never: a very good morning to you!
It’s a cold, snowy (but not too snowy) one here.
Good morning Andi. We’ve got a big pile outside. Let the shoveling begin.
I thought the new mantra was: Oh boy, I get to use the snow-blower!
And an even later good morning to you, Andi & boran2! Only about an inch of snow on the ground here, temp 12F and the sun is out, if intermittently.
Good morning, ID!

It’s been like a beautiful spring day here – sunny and mid 60s. Just back from a hike at a nearby mountain.
A bit cooler and windy up there.
What a lovely spot! Thanks for sharing and happy to hear your travel difficulties with luggage are finally resolved.
What a great place to have nearby. Those cliffs looks spectacular.
agree, wonderful to have a hike like that nearby!
Wow, that’s beautiful!
Wow, that looks wonderful! Glad you’re having some mild weather after all your holiday weather woes.
