Personal Day

As odd as it sounds after eight years, today I need to take a “personal day,” Sometimes, a higher order calls. While I am away, I would be very grateful if some of you would make a contribution toward the upkeep of the site. Things are about the get very interesting and contentious in this country, and you wont know what I think about it if this site isn’t around.

I rely on the support of my readers to keep the Frog Pond open.

Got to meet and hear Congressman Andre Carson (IN-7) speak last night. It was a pleasant evening and helped recharge a lot of political batteries, so to speak. Yes, Virginia, Indiana really does have a liberal in Congress.

Didn’t you used to have an Amazon button? If you don’t, you should. Yes, I still buy CD’s as I prefer to burn my own MP3’s instead of buying them through iTunes(or where ever) if possible. Also, too, I buy real books. 😉 And yes Amazon isn’t great but they are the only place these days where you can buy CD’s(or even vinyl) so you might as well make some money off of that.
