Some stuff happened in the Senate today. It was all for show. It was all just posturing and posing and shameful bullshit. A complete waste of everyone’s time. A joke, really. Just assholery masquerading as buffoonery.

They actually passed a highway bill! OK, it’s been the House that’s been the obstacle to that for the past, what, five years, and the bill itself is kinda stupid, but Congress sort of did its job for a change!
Raising revenue by selling off oil reserves at extremely low prices? Why didn’t I think of that!
Clearly you aren’t a Republican, and hence wouldn’t think that selling strategic reserves of a highly valuable commodity for pennies on the dollar is a good deal.

No way can I vote for Hillary…
What makes her so not worthy of your vote? Seriously, what has she done/not done that makes her unworthy of your vote? I’m not very excited by her as a candidate, but I’ve no doubt that she will make an honorable and very capable President. Actually I feel the same way about Sanders, with the added ingredient of enthusiasm. Both of them leave all those horrible GOP candidates with even more horrible policies and beliefs in the dust.
Not a difficult choice for those who wish to see the country survive and progress. I’ve lived long enough to recognize that incremental change in a forward direction is acceptable, if not always preferable, in a stable and functioning democracy. What’s transpiring on the right is definitely reactionary and not progressive and has the earmarks of being altogether disruptive for the nation.
You don’t want to get me started.
For one I think she has run state like she was really running the Pentagon. I consider the fiasco in Libya and stirring $$$$ in Ukraine and Egypt, AND Syria her doings.
I’d like to see a little less killing and regime change and more diplomacy.
