Kucinich New Hampshire recount chain of custody problem
Despite questionable chain of custody conditions which could undermine his investigation and serve to mask serious voting security issues with New Hampshire’s voting procedures , Dennis Kucinich is plowing ahead with his recount . Bev Harris of Black Box Voting has assembled a team to monitor the recount but she has discovered conditions which are ripe for exploitation by anyone wishing to game the voting process or a recount .
“TRUST ME ELECTIONS”
A member of the Kucinich campaign tried to wave Bev Harris off from looking into ballot chain of custody. Another member of the Kucinich campaign said she has 100% confidence in the ballot chain of custody, even though, when Bev asked, she admitted she didn’t know where the ballots go after leaving the towns.
This should be a huge concern ,as the previous article, “Walking into a trap?” indicates, if you order a recount without first getting answers to the chain of custody questions, you may end up with a sham recount with stuffed or substituted ballots. No candidate’s campaign should be satisfied with “trust” without asking and demanding answers to chain of custody questions, said Harris.
Harris was told by one of the Kucinich people that chain of custody has always been completely trustworthy in the past, and that she should stick to securing the memory cards and chips and not get into ballot chain of custody issues. Basing an analysis of the CURRENT chain of custody on past (or imagined) chain of custody perceptions is like saying, “I won’t lock the door tonight because I have locked it in the past.” , said Harris .
Harris says , at this point we can pretty much guarantee the New Hampshire recount for Kucinich will match — and that’s not a good thing, because unless chain of custody can be documented properly, the recount doesn’t provide real answers.
VERDICT: New Hampshire is unable to document its chain of custody properly, lacks written procedures, its secretary of state has said he doesn’t know where its memory cards are, and LHS has been encroaching on state elections with near-total control. I’ll be preparing a Special Report when I return from New Hampshire with documents and video to support this assessment.

The fact that they don’t choose to tell Bev Harris anything, because she’s a known trouble maker, does not indicate a chain of custody problem. In NH the ballots go to the town clerks office, are counted, then shipped to the county then the state.
Being absolutely exhausted from the WORST invasion of newspeople ever, Town Clerks are stretched as it is. A Bev Harris, and more National Media is the LAST thing they need. If you want to verify chain of custody call the Sec of State’s voter Division. They will tell you.
However, they too are stretched thin, so I strongly suggest you state you’re from a town in So. NH. Atrios had a list of all NH towns on election night, and say you cannot reach your own town clerk. Or, you can call the local town Clerk, ususally avaialable from 9 Am to 1 PM, and say you are a student doing this for a history project.
Being from NH, I too am sick unto death with all thses out of staters acting like we OWE it to them to allow them to create chaos in our lives, on top of a news media that acted like the German Stasi up to they day after elections.
Where do ANY of you get this we OWE you anything? We are tired and cranky and people from other states are a major irritant right now. We need a month to decompress.
Don’t take it offensively – I am sure you are not one of the culprits!
Important info.
NH State workers are NOT paid overtime. Town Clerks are given a stipend the equivalent of a 1930’s Postal Clerk. Town Selectment and all other town officials are PUBLIC SERVANTS – they get titles – no MONEY.
NH city workers, are paid less than State workers, and there have been severe cutbacks.
Please put that in your equation, when making demands on these good people.
is it still on?

That’s not the Kucinich recount. That’s the Republican recount. And that’s just absurd!
